Independent Audio R&D Studio
We offer an independent audio R&D studio focused on loudspeaker systems, DSP and applied acoustics.
The studio operates as a private technical framework bringing together complementary expertise in acoustic engineering, DSP, electro-mechanics and system modelling. This collective setup enables a coherent, industrially grounded approach to complex audio systems.
It is dedicated to long-term engineering work, confidentiality and real-world deployment, supporting selected brands and manufacturers from concept to validated, production-ready solutions.
Scope of work
Our work covers loudspeaker system design from early concept to validated prototypes, including acoustic architecture, enclosure topology, waveguides and cardioid or hybrid systems.
We develop electro-acoustic solutions with a strong focus on coherence, repeatability and real-world performance.
DSP and system optimisation
We work on DSP architectures and system optimisation across different implementation levels. This includes working with OEM DSP platforms as well as developing custom DSP code, control logic and software layers, either directly on target hardware or through collaborative API-based workflows.
Our work covers crossover strategies, FIR and IIR filtering, system voicing and application-driven tuning, with the objective of aligning acoustic performance, code architecture, usability and deployment constraints within a coherent and maintainable system approach.
Collaboration model
We collaborate directly with brands and manufacturers on clearly framed projects, either as external R&D support or in co-development with internal teams.
Engagements are defined by scope, duration and responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on clarity and long-term consistency.
Intellectual property and context
All collaborations are governed by explicit agreements covering confidentiality and intellectual property.
This private studio operates alongside long-term product developments, allowing me to stay deeply involved in hands-on engineering, prototyping and industrial constraints.
